Slide Show

My slide show will go through the most beautiful places to do tourism in Venezuela. From the islands of the Caribbean all the way to the Orinoco river and Amazon's Forest. I want to show people how amazing the landscape can be. I also want to explain how to get to Venezuela and to this exotic places, what are the odds of traveling and how much the prices would be, I definitely want to promote tourism in this tropical paradise.

My podcast

My podcast is about the hot topic of the last decade in Venezuela. Many people have a wrong impression of Venezuela due to the President Hugo Chavez, who has been criticized several times publically due to his indiscreet speech and his condemnation against the United States of America. Some people don’t know about the real situation in Venezuela. Some of them think there is a war and some other think everybody approves Chavez, when the truth is that more than 50% of Venezuelans disagree with him and most of them are actively battling against him. My podcast is going to explore the current political situation in Venezuela and review Hugo Chavez story and how he was able to get to the presidency. This podcast is also an attachment to my web text for those who want to get deeper information about Chavez’s life. I also want to explain that even though there is a hard political situation in Venezuela, you can still travel and visit it whenever you want to. There are beautiful places to go visit, and also nice people to meet. I am sure whoever goes to Venezuela is going to get in love with it regardless of the president or political issues.

A little bit of everything

I posted my webzines ideas in the discussion board in Facebook. I really think we are lacking on information about other topics that are not health care issues, however, I am open to other ideas to our webzine. I also want to briefly summarize my topic even though I didn't do it when it was due. My topic is about Venezuela, the country I was born at and where I was raised. The reason why I want to talk about it is because I strongly believe people in the US is lacking of information about Latin American countries and also because I would like to pursue people to consider Venezuela as a vacation destination. I really believe Venezuela has a lot of potential and is just a matter of getting the best of it.

My topic

Last few days I have been examinating myself very closely. I've discover even more the passion that I have for cultures and countries of the world. Every time I meet somebody new I want to hear about their traditions, customs, religions and languages. It is very exiting for me to learn new things and realize how different we are from each other, and how beautiful diversity is.
I have some knowledge about the European culture, as well as the Latin American culture in general, but I definitely have a lack of knowledge in the eastern culture, and I believe the reason is the distance. So I would love to research on this, and write down about my experience with different cultures and share this with everyone.

My storming Ideas

Topics of my interest are: Economy, Global Warming, and it would also be interesting for me to sneak on Cultures of the World; I am a big fan of diversity. I love the different cultures and traditions. I like history and art, I am also a traveler, and I like to learn new languages, go beyond the limits. So I am thinking I will be more addressed to the third topic I mentioned, but I am still trying to decide, I don’t know… What do you think?
